Microchipping

Microchips are no bigger than a grain of rice and are inserted under the skin between the shoulders. Each microchip has a unique identification number which gets registered on a central database, allowing your pet to be traced back to you if they get lost.

Legally, all dogs over 8 weeks old must be microchipped and new legislation requires all cats to be microchipped by June 10, 2024

We can microchip your animal for a one off cost of £23.00. If the microchip is implanted at the same time as a vaccination or an operation, the price of the chip will be £13.50.
